About Minoxytop 5mg
What is Minoxytop 5mg?
Minoxytop 5mg is an Indian brand of minoxidil, a blood pressure medicine (vasodilator). Each tablet contains minoxidil 5 mg. It is made by Healing Pharma, India.
What it is used for
According to the UK SmPC for minoxidil 5 mg tablets (emc), minoxidil is used for severe high blood pressure. The US label limits it to severe high blood pressure that causes symptoms or organ damage and is not controlled by a diuretic plus two other blood pressure medicines; hair loss is not a labelled use of minoxidil tablets. The US label carries a boxed warning: minoxidil tablets can cause fluid around the heart and can worsen angina, and are normally given with a diuretic and a beta blocker. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
Packs and price
Minoxytop 5mg comes in packs of 30, 60 and 90 tablets. The lowest price works out at about $0.86 per tablet on the 90 tablet pack, as of October 2026; the pack selector shows the current price. Shipping is $25 on orders under $149 and free from $149.
Prescription status
Minoxidil tablets are prescription only in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. The 5 mg strength is licensed in the UK; US tablets come as 2.5 mg and 10 mg. Minoxytop 5mg itself is an India made pack and is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. The FDA says that importing unapproved medicines for personal use is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live.
Before you order
Read the patient leaflet that comes with the pack. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you take and any health conditions you have. Get urgent medical help if you notice signs of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, trouble breathing, or a widespread rash.
Delivery
Orders usually arrive in 7 to 14 business days in plain packaging, with a tracking number.
