What is Itromed 100mg?

Itromed 100mg is an Indian brand of itraconazole, an antifungal medicine. Each capsule contains itraconazole 100 mg. It is made in India by Leeford Pharma Pvt Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Sporanox capsules (DailyMed), itraconazole is used for blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, aspergillosis when amphotericin B is not tolerated or has not worked, and fungal nail infection of the toenails or fingernails in people with a normal immune system. The US label carries a boxed warning about heart failure and about serious drug interactions that can affect heart rhythm. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
