According to the US FDA label for Aciphex (DailyMed), rabeprazole is used for healing and maintaining healing of erosive or ulcerative GERD in adults, symptomatic GERD in adults and adolescents 12 years and older, healing of duodenal ulcers, eradication of H. pylori together with antibiotics to lower the risk of duodenal ulcers coming back, and conditions with too much stomach acid such as Zollinger Ellison syndrome.
