What is TacroBoon 1mg?

TacroBoon 1mg is an Indian brand of tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant (calcineurin inhibitor). Each capsule contains tacrolimus 1 mg. It is made in India by Kachhela Medex Pvt. Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Prograf (DailyMed), tacrolimus is used for preventing organ rejection in adults and children who have had a kidney, liver, heart or lung transplant, together with other immunosuppressants. The US label carries a boxed warning about a higher risk of serious infections and cancers, which can lead to hospital admission or death. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
