About Zo 400mg
What is Zo 400mg?
Zo 400mg is an Indian brand of ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Each tablet contains ofloxacin 400 mg. It is made by FDC Ltd in India.
What it is used for
According to the US FDA label for ofloxacin tablets (DailyMed), ofloxacin is used for adult infections including flare ups of chronic bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia, uncomplicated skin infections, uncomplicated gonorrhea, chlamydia related urethritis and cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, bladder and complicated urinary infections, and prostatitis. The US label carries a boxed warning about tendon rupture, nerve damage, effects on the brain and worsening of myasthenia gravis, and reserves it for some mild infections only when no other option is suitable. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
Packs and price
Zo 400mg comes in packs of 30, 60 and 90 tablets. The lowest price works out at about $0.58 per tablet on the 90 tablet pack, as of October 2026; the pack selector shows the current price. Shipping is $25 on orders under $149 and free from $149.
Prescription status
Ofloxacin tablets are prescription only in the US and UK. Oral ofloxacin is not currently marketed in Australia or Canada. Zo 400mg itself is an India made pack and is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. The FDA says that importing unapproved medicines for personal use is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live.
Before you order
Read the patient leaflet that comes with the pack. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you take and any health conditions you have. Get urgent medical help if you notice signs of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, trouble breathing, or a widespread rash.
