What it is used for
According to the US FDA label for nabumetone tablets (DailyMed), nabumetone is used for relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The US label carries a boxed warning that NSAIDs raise the risk of serious heart and blood vessel events such as heart attack and stroke, which can be fatal, and of serious stomach and bowel bleeding, ulcers and perforation; nabumetone must not be used around heart bypass (CABG) surgery.
