Kamagra Oral Jelly

Kamagra Oral Jelly is sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, in a flavoured gel. Each single-use sachet contains sildenafil citrate equivalent to 100 mg of sildenafil, and it is made in India by Ajanta Pharma. We sell it in packs of 28, 56 and 84 sachets, from $1.49 a sachet in the largest pack.

No jelly pack reaches the $149 free shipping threshold on its own; the 84 pack is $24 short, so adding a second product can remove the $25 fee. The same 100 mg of sildenafil costs less as a tablet: Kamagra 100 tablets work out at $0.70 to $1.02 each before shipping. With the jelly you pay for the format, not for a stronger or faster dose.

Kamagra Oral Jelly compared with Viagra and US generics

Kamagra Oral Jelly, Viagra 100 mg and FDA-approved generic sildenafil 100 mg contain the same molecule at the same strength. The difference is regulatory review: Viagra was approved on clinical trial evidence, US generics had to prove bioequivalence to it, and the FDA inspects manufacturing for both. Kamagra Oral Jelly has not been assessed by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada, and no study of how it is absorbed has been published.

The Viagra and US generic figures are what US pharmacies paid per tablet in September 2026 according to the Medicaid NADAC survey; the price at the counter is higher and depends on the pharmacy and your insurance. If you are in the US and have a prescription, compare cash prices for FDA-approved generic sildenafil before ordering. If you want a form you do not swallow as a tablet, the FDA approved a sildenafil oral film, Vybrique, in December 2025, and in the EU Viagra is also licensed as a 50 mg orodispersible tablet.

Ajanta Pharma also holds FDA approval for generic sildenafil tablets sold in the US under the generic name (ANDA 206401, approved October 2018). That approval covers the US product made under that application. It does not extend to Kamagra, which the FDA has never reviewed.

Is a full 100 mg sachet the right dose?

Often not. The sildenafil label recommends 50 mg for most men, allows a move up to 100 mg or down to 25 mg depending on effect and side effects, and sets 100 mg as the maximum. Every Kamagra sachet is that maximum dose. A sachet cannot be divided into halves or quarters with any accuracy, so men who need 25 mg or 50 mg are better served by a tablet they can take whole.

If you have used sildenafil before and 100 mg suits you, the jelly is a reasonable choice when you dislike swallowing tablets. If you are new to sildenafil, start with a 50 mg tablet.

How to take Kamagra Oral Jelly

• Check the sachet first. It should be sealed and show the manufacturer, strength, batch number and expiry date.
• Take one sachet about an hour before sex. The label allows anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours beforehand.
• Keep your stomach empty or light. A heavy, fatty meal delays sildenafil, and dissolving forms are delayed at least as much as tablets (see below).
• Squeeze the gel into your mouth or onto a spoon and swallow. Water is optional.
• Take no more than one sachet in 24 hours, even if the first did not seem to work, and never combine it with another sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil product.
• It works only with sexual stimulation. It does not cause an erection on its own.

In the one label study that looked at timing, the effect lasted up to 4 hours, weaker at 4 hours than at 2. A small crossover trial of 16 men found some effect up to 12 hours after 100 mg. Our Kamagra Oral Jelly guide covers timing, food and alcohol in more detail.

Does the jelly work faster than a tablet?

There is no published evidence that it does. The closest evidence comes from licensed dissolving forms of sildenafil. The EU-approved Viagra 50 mg orodispersible tablet, taken without water, was bioequivalent to the standard 50 mg tablet, and a 100 mg orodispersible film was bioequivalent to the Viagra 100 mg tablet. Bioequivalent means the same amount reaching the blood at about the same speed, so a dissolving form is a convenience, not a faster drug.

Sildenafil itself can work quickly in some men. In a trial of men who already responded to sildenafil 100 mg tablets, taken at least 2 hours after eating, 35% had an erection that led to successful sex within 14 minutes (22% on placebo) and 51% within 20 minutes (30% on placebo); the median was 36 minutes. The trial used tablets, and there are no equivalent data for a jelly.

Food matters at least as much with dissolving forms. After a high-fat meal:

The total amount absorbed changed little; what changed was how quickly and how high the level rose. For a jelly with no data of its own, an empty or light stomach is the safer bet. Our Kamagra types comparison sets the jelly beside the tablet, chewable and effervescent versions.

Men who should not use a 100 mg sachet

The label advises considering a 25 mg starting dose for men who are over 65, have liver impairment or severe kidney impairment, or take erythromycin or a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor such as ketoconazole or itraconazole. Men on an alpha blocker (for example doxazosin or tamsulosin) should be stable on it first and start sildenafil at 25 mg. Men taking ritonavir should take no more than 25 mg in 48 hours, because ritonavir raises sildenafil levels 11-fold, so a 100 mg sachet is never suitable for them; the EU label advises against combining sildenafil with ritonavir at all. Sildenafil can also lower blood pressure further in men taking blood pressure medicines: with amlodipine, a 100 mg dose lowered it by an extra 8/7 mmHg. None of the other groups should start on a 100 mg sachet.

Side effects at 100 mg

Because every sachet is 100 mg, the 100 mg column below is the one that applies. These rates come from the fixed-dose trials in the sildenafil label, where each man stayed on one dose.

In the label, abnormal vision was mostly a colour tinge to vision, sometimes with extra sensitivity to light or blurring, and was mild to moderate and temporary. Indigestion and abnormal vision are clearly more common at 100 mg than at 50 mg, which is another reason not to start on a full sachet.

When to get urgent help

• An erection lasting more than 4 hours. Without prompt treatment it can permanently damage the penis and cause lasting erectile dysfunction.
• Sudden loss or reduction of vision in one or both eyes. Stop taking sildenafil and get medical help straight away.
• Sudden loss or reduction of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness. Stop taking sildenafil and get prompt medical attention.
• Chest pain, dizziness or nausea during sex: stop and get medical help right away.
• Fainting, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a rash, hives or blistering skin.
• If you take more than one sachet, contact a doctor or emergency department straight away.

If you need emergency care for a heart problem, tell the staff that you took sildenafil, how much and when. Nitrates, a standard emergency treatment for chest pain, must not be given soon after a dose; the label says it is not known when they can safely be given, even 24 hours later. The patient information notes that heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat and death have happened rarely in men taking sildenafil, most but not all of whom had heart problems before; it is not known whether the drug caused them.

Who must not take Kamagra Oral Jelly

• Anyone using nitrates in any form, regularly or occasionally, including nitroglycerin sprays, tablets or patches for angina, and amyl or butyl nitrite "poppers". The combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
• Anyone taking a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat (Adempas) or vericiguat (Verquvo).
• Anyone allergic to sildenafil or any ingredient of the gel.
• Men with severe liver impairment, blood pressure below 90/50, a recent heart attack or stroke, retinitis pigmentosa or another inherited retinal disorder, or previous loss of vision in one eye from NAION. The UK and EU labels list these as contraindications; the US label advises caution.
• Men for whom sex is inadvisable because of a heart condition. The label has no controlled data in men who had a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening arrhythmia in the last 6 months, men with resting blood pressure below 90/50 or above 170/110, or men with heart failure or unstable angina.

Do not combine it with Revatio (sildenafil for pulmonary hypertension), another PDE5 inhibitor such as tadalafil or vardenafil, or other erectile dysfunction treatments. Talk to a doctor first if you have aortic stenosis or another obstruction to blood flow out of the heart, severely impaired control of blood pressure, a deformed penis (angulation or Peyronie's disease), a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erections (sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia), a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer. Kamagra Oral Jelly is for adult men only, and it does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Prescription and legal status

Sildenafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada. In the UK it is prescription only apart from 50 mg pharmacy packs such as Viagra Connect, which pharmacies can sell after a consultation. Kamagra is not licensed by the FDA, the MHRA, the TGA or Health Canada. In the UK, the MHRA seized about 19.5 million doses of illegally traded erectile dysfunction medicines between 2021 and 2025, and unlicensed products such as Kamagra fall in that category.

In the US, the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances. We recommend seeing a doctor before using sildenafil, especially if you have heart disease or take regular medicines, and checking the rules where you live before ordering. Buying genuine Kamagra Oral Jelly

Counterfeit erectile dysfunction pills are common in unlicensed channels. When Pfizer tested 22 orders from websites claiming to sell its Viagra in 2011, 77% were counterfeit, with 30% to 50% of the labelled dose, and the MHRA warns that any medicine not authorised for sale in the UK, which includes Kamagra, can be unsafe or ineffective, and that erectile dysfunction pills bought online may contain no active ingredient, the wrong dose, hidden drugs or toxic ingredients. The MHRA advises UK buyers to use only UK-registered pharmacies. When your order arrives, check that each sachet is sealed and names Ajanta Pharma, with a batch number and an expiry date, and reject sachets that are torn, swollen, misprinted or unmarked. These checks cannot prove a product is genuine on their own, because counterfeiters copy packaging. Be wary of any seller that promises effects in a few minutes or sachets stronger than 100 mg. If a batch causes unusual symptoms, stop using it, seek medical advice, and report it to your medicines regulator (the MHRA Yellow Card scheme in the UK, FDA MedWatch in the US, the TGA in Australia or Health Canada) as well as to us.
