Fildena 100mg

Fildena 100 is a sildenafil tablet made in India by Fortune Healthcare. Each tablet contains sildenafil citrate equivalent to 100 mg of sildenafil, the same active ingredient and the same strength as Viagra 100 mg. It comes in strips of 10 tablets, and we sell it in packs of 90, 120, 150 and 300 tablets, from $0.71 a tablet in the largest pack.

Fildena 100 compared with Viagra and US generics

Fildena 100, Viagra 100 mg and FDA-approved generic sildenafil 100 mg all contain the same molecule at the same labelled strength. The difference is regulatory review: Viagra was approved on clinical trial evidence, US generics had to prove bioequivalence to it, and the FDA inspects manufacturing for both, while Fildena has not been assessed by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. Price is the other difference.

The Viagra and US generic figures are what US pharmacies paid per tablet in September 2026 according to the Medicaid NADAC survey; the price at the counter is higher and depends on the pharmacy and your insurance. Which Fildena strength or format to choose

The sildenafil label recommends 50 mg for most men, allows a move up to 100 mg or down to 25 mg depending on effect and side effects, and sets 100 mg as the maximum dose. Fildena comes in several strengths and formats; these are the ones we stock.

The label sets 100 mg as the maximum, and at doses above the recommended range side effects were generally reported more often. In one small uncontrolled study of 54 men who did not respond to 100 mg, 24% responded at 150 mg or 200 mg, but 63% had side effects at their highest dose and almost a third of those who responded stopped because of them. There is no published evidence that the chewable or soft gel versions work faster than the standard tablet. If 100 mg is not working, check timing and food first, then consider a different molecule such as tadalafil (Vidalista 20) or see a doctor.

Fildena 100 compared with other sildenafil 100 mg brands

Several Indian makers sell sildenafil 100 mg under their own brand names. They contain the same active ingredient at the same strength; none is approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada.

Choosing between them comes down to availability and personal preference, not strength: the dose, the label rules and the side effect data below apply to all of them.

How to take Fildena 100

• Take one tablet with water about an hour before sex. The label allows anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours beforehand.
• Take no more than one dose in 24 hours, and never combine it with another sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil product.
• Take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal. A high-fat meal delays the peak blood level by about an hour and lowers it by 29%.
• It works only with sexual stimulation. It does not cause an erection on its own.
• Give it several attempts before deciding it does not work for you.

In the one label study that looked at timing, the effect lasted up to 4 hours, weaker at 4 hours than at 2. A small crossover trial of 16 men found some effect up to 12 hours after 100 mg. Start lower if any of these apply

The label advises considering a 25 mg starting dose for men who are over 65, have liver impairment or severe kidney impairment, or take erythromycin or a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor such as ketoconazole or itraconazole. Men on an alpha blocker (for example doxazosin or tamsulosin) should be stable on it first and start sildenafil at 25 mg. Men taking ritonavir should take no more than 25 mg in 48 hours, because ritonavir raises sildenafil levels 11-fold. Sildenafil can also lower blood pressure further in men taking blood pressure medicines: with amlodipine, a 100 mg dose lowered it by an extra 8/7 mmHg. For these groups a 100 mg tablet is the wrong starting product.

Side effects by dose

These rates come from the fixed-dose trials in the sildenafil label, where each man stayed on one dose, so the strengths can be compared directly.

In the label, abnormal vision was mostly a colour tinge to vision, sometimes with extra sensitivity to light or blurring, and was mild to moderate and temporary. It is the side effect that rises most sharply between 50 mg and 100 mg.

When to get urgent help

• An erection lasting more than 4 hours. Without prompt treatment it can permanently damage the penis and cause lasting erectile dysfunction.
• Sudden loss or reduction of vision in one or both eyes. Stop taking sildenafil and get medical help straight away.
• Sudden loss or reduction of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness. Stop taking sildenafil and get prompt medical attention.
• Chest pain, dizziness or nausea during sex: stop and get medical help right away.
• Fainting, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a rash, hives or blistering skin.
• If you take more than one tablet, contact a doctor or emergency department straight away.

If you need emergency care for a heart problem, tell the staff that you took sildenafil, how much and when. Nitrates, a standard emergency treatment for chest pain, must not be given soon after a dose; the label says it is not known when they can safely be given, even 24 hours later. The patient information notes that heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat and death have happened rarely in men taking sildenafil, most but not all of whom had heart problems before; it is not known whether the drug caused them.

Who must not take Fildena 100

• Anyone using nitrates in any form, regularly or occasionally, including nitroglycerin sprays, tablets or patches for angina, and amyl or butyl nitrite "poppers". The combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
• Anyone taking a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat (Adempas) or vericiguat (Verquvo).
• Anyone allergic to sildenafil or any ingredient of the tablet.
• Men with severe liver impairment, blood pressure below 90/50, a recent heart attack or stroke, retinitis pigmentosa or another inherited retinal disorder, or previous loss of vision in one eye from NAION. The UK and EU labels list these as contraindications; the US label advises caution.
• Men for whom sex is inadvisable because of a heart condition. The label has no controlled data in men who had a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening arrhythmia in the last 6 months, men with resting blood pressure below 90/50 or above 170/110, or men with heart failure or unstable angina.

Do not combine Fildena with Revatio (sildenafil for pulmonary hypertension), another PDE5 inhibitor such as tadalafil or vardenafil, or other erectile dysfunction treatments. These combinations have not been studied and may lower blood pressure further.

Talk to a doctor first if you have aortic stenosis or another obstruction to blood flow out of the heart, severely impaired control of blood pressure, a deformed penis (angulation or Peyronie's disease), a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erections (sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia), a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer. Fildena is for adult men only, and it does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Prescription and legal status

Sildenafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada. In the UK it is prescription only apart from 50 mg pharmacy packs such as Viagra Connect, which pharmacies can sell after a consultation. Fildena is not licensed by the FDA, the MHRA, the TGA or Health Canada. In the US, the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances. We recommend seeing a doctor before using sildenafil, especially if you have heart disease or take regular medicines, and checking the rules where you live before ordering.

Buying genuine Fildena

Counterfeit erectile dysfunction pills are common in unlicensed channels. When Pfizer tested 22 orders from websites claiming to sell its Viagra in 2011, 77% were counterfeit, with 30% to 50% of the labelled dose. When your order arrives, check that each strip names Fortune Healthcare and shows a batch number and an expiry date, and reject strips that are damaged, unsealed or unmarked. These checks cannot prove a product is genuine on their own, because counterfeiters copy packaging. If a batch causes unusual symptoms, stop using it, seek medical advice, and report it to your medicines regulator (the MHRA Yellow Card scheme in the UK, FDA MedWatch in the US, the TGA in Australia or Health Canada) as well as to us.
