Lovento 100 mg

Lovento 100 is a generic Viagra tablet in the everyday sense of the term: each tablet contains sildenafil citrate equivalent to 100 mg of sildenafil, the same active ingredient and the same strength as Viagra 100 mg. It is a brand of Actiza Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. of Surat, India, and it is not one of the FDA-approved generics sold in US pharmacies. We sell it in packs of 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1,000 tablets, from $0.70 a tablet in the 100 pack down to $0.50 in the 1,000 pack, before shipping.

Three points before you order. First, the smallest pack is 100 tablets ($70, or $95 with shipping), which is a large first order for a medicine you have not tried. Second, in the US, generic sildenafil 100 mg costs pharmacies about 14 cents a tablet, so US readers with a prescription may pay less per tablet locally; compare cash prices first. Third, nobody has published a study comparing Lovento with Viagra in the blood (a bioequivalence study), so "same ingredient, same strength" is as far as the comparison goes. Clinical figures come from the US prescribing information for Viagra and the UK and EU product information, listed at the end. The larger packs are cheaper per tablet before shipping as well, so free shipping is not the only reason the 300 pack works out cheaper. Sildenafil is taken as needed, no more than once a day, so a pack is a number of doses, not a course: at two doses a week, 100 tablets last about a year (our arithmetic). The 500 and 1,000 packs are only a saving if you will use them before the expiry date printed on the strips; at the label maximum of one tablet a day, 1,000 tablets would take nearly three years. Check the expiry date when your order arrives.

The smallest pack is large. The other sildenafil 100 mg brands on this page start smaller: Cenforce 100 comes in a 30-tablet pack for $35 ($60 with shipping). If you have never taken sildenafil, or are not sure 100 mg is your dose, a smaller first order costs less in total even though each tablet costs more.

Lovento 100 as generic Viagra: what is the same and what is not

"Generic Viagra" is used in two ways. In everyday use it means any sildenafil tablet sold under a name other than Viagra, and Lovento 100 fits that meaning. In the US, it also means the FDA-approved generic sildenafil tablets sold in US pharmacies since December 2017, when Teva launched the first approved generic (ANDA) on 11 December and Pfizer's Greenstone launched an authorized generic of Viagra itself. Lovento is not one of those.

What is the same: the molecule and the labelled amount per tablet. The dosing rules, side effects and warnings on this page come from the Viagra label; there are no Lovento-specific data. What is not the same: no regulator in the US, UK, Canada or Australia has assessed this Indian pack, and there are no published data showing that a Lovento tablet gives the same blood levels as a Viagra tablet. We do not claim it is "the same as Viagra", and you should be wary of any seller who makes that claim for an unregistered brand. Price, plainly. NADAC is the average price US pharmacies pay to buy a medicine, published by the US Medicaid programme; the counter price is higher and depends on the pharmacy and your insurance. In the NADAC file as of 28 October 2026, all 33 rows for generic sildenafil 100 mg tablets were $0.13650 a tablet (effective 21 October 2026), and the four Viagra 100 mg rows were $83.70474 (effective 21 October 2026). Lovento 100 costs roughly 3.7 to 5.1 times the US generic rate before shipping, and about 7 times with shipping on the 100 pack (our arithmetic). Lovento versus Cenforce 100, Kamagra 100 and Fildena 100

All four are Indian sildenafil 100 mg tablets, none is registered with the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada, and none has published bioequivalence data against Viagra that we know of. The differences are the brand owner, the pack sizes and the price.

Prices are from our store as of October 2026. Per tablet, Lovento's 300, 500 and 1,000 packs ($0.50 to $0.57) cost less than any pack of Cenforce 100, Kamagra 100 or Fildena 100 (lowest $0.70 to $0.71, before shipping); its 100 pack ($0.70) costs about the same per tablet as their largest packs. Cenforce 100's 30 pack is the cheapest way to try sildenafil 100 mg at all. At the same dose, we have no evidence that one of these brands works better than another, so we would choose on price, pack size and how many tablets you will use before they expire. One detail on Kamagra: Ajanta Pharma, which makes it, also holds an FDA approval for generic sildenafil tablets sold in the US under its own name (ANDA 206401); that approval covers the US product, not Kamagra. Which strength to choose

The sildenafil label recommends 50 mg for most men, allows a move down to 25 mg or up to 100 mg depending on effect and side effects, and sets 100 mg as the maximum dose (US label 2.1; UK and EU label 4.2). Actiza's website lists Lovento tablets in 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg only, so there is no Lovento for men who should start lower.

Does 100 mg work better than 50 mg? In four fixed-dose trials described in the US label (1,797 men, 12 to 24 weeks), 82% of men on 100 mg reported improved erections, against 74% on 50 mg, 63% on 25 mg and 24% on placebo (section 14). Side effects were also more common at 100 mg (see the table below). That is why the label starts most men on 50 mg and moves to 100 mg only if needed.

The rest of the Lovento family. We would not recommend Lovento Red 150; the label sets 100 mg as the maximum. The same applies to Lovento Black 200. The UK label says "Doses of 200 mg did not result in increased efficacy but the incidence of adverse reactions (headache, flushing, dizziness, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, altered vision) was increased" (4.9), and the US label says that above the recommended range, side effects were similar "but generally were reported more frequently" (6.1). In one small uncontrolled study of 54 men who had not responded to 100 mg, 24% responded at 150 mg or 200 mg, but 63% had side effects at their highest dose (McMahon 2002); in another, 24 of 41 men who said sildenafil had failed succeeded on 100 mg once shown how to take it (Jiann 2004). Lovento Oral Jelly contains 100 mg of sildenafil per sachet; the labels give no faster onset for a jelly, so plan the same timing as the tablet. If 100 mg is not working, check the practical causes first: a heavy meal, taking it too close to sex, too much alcohol or not enough sexual stimulation, and give it several attempts (our advice). Tadalafil (Vidalista 20) is another option to discuss with a doctor. Erection problems that do not respond to 100 mg are also a reason to see a doctor, because they can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes.

How to take Lovento 100

• Take one tablet with water about an hour before sex. The US label allows anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours beforehand.
• Take no more than one dose in 24 hours, and never combine it with another sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil product.
• It can be taken with or without food (US patient information), but a high-fat meal delays the peak blood level by about an hour and lowers it by 29% (US 12.3), so it may work later after a heavy meal.
• It works only with sexual stimulation. It does not cause an erection on its own.
• Our advice: give it several attempts before deciding it does not work for you.

When a 100 mg tablet is not the right start

For these groups, sildenafil levels in the blood run higher or blood pressure can fall further, and the labels advise a lower dose. Each point says which label it comes from.

• Men over 65. The US label says to consider a starting dose of 25 mg (2.5, 8.5). The UK and EU label says dose adjustments are not required in elderly patients (4.2).
• Liver impairment. The US label says to consider 25 mg as the starting dose (8.7). The UK and EU label says 25 mg should be considered, and lists severe hepatic impairment as a contraindication (4.2, 4.3).
• Severe kidney impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min). Both labels say a 25 mg dose should be considered (US 8.6; UK and EU 4.2).
• Erythromycin and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole or saquinavir. The US label says to consider a 25 mg starting dose (2.4); the UK and EU label says the same for CYP3A4 inhibitors (4.2).
• Alpha blockers (for example doxazosin or tamsulosin). Be stable on the alpha blocker first, then start sildenafil at 25 mg (US 2.3); the UK and EU label says starting at 25 mg should be considered (4.2). The combination can cause dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting (US 5.5).
• Ritonavir. The US label sets no more than 25 mg in 48 hours, because ritonavir raised sildenafil exposure 11-fold (2.4, 12.3). The UK and EU label says the combination is "not advised" (4.4). Lovento 100 is not suitable for men taking ritonavir.
• Blood pressure medicines. Sildenafil may lower blood pressure further (US 5.5); with amlodipine, a 100 mg dose lowered it by an extra 8/7 mmHg (7.3).

If one of these applies to you, start on a 25 mg or 50 mg product from the table above, with your doctor's agreement, rather than on Lovento 100. Any later move up to 100 mg is for your doctor to agree.

Side effects by dose

These rates come from the fixed-dose trials in the US label, where each man stayed on one dose, so the strengths can be compared directly. The table lists every reaction in the label's Table 1 (reported by 2% or more of men and more often than with placebo).

In the label, abnormal vision was mostly a colour tinge to vision, sometimes with extra sensitivity to light or blurring, and was mild to moderate and temporary. In placebo-controlled studies, 2.5% of men on sildenafil stopped because of side effects, against 2.3% on placebo (US 6.1). Sildenafil 50 mg did not add to the blood pressure effect of alcohol in a label study (US 7.5, 12.2); the label adds that 100 mg was not evaluated in that study.

When to get urgent help

• An erection lasting more than 4 hours. Without prompt treatment it can permanently damage the penis and cause lasting erectile dysfunction.
• Sudden loss or reduction of vision in one or both eyes. Stop taking sildenafil and get medical help straight away.
• Sudden loss or reduction of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness. Stop taking sildenafil and get prompt medical attention.
• Chest pain, dizziness or nausea during sex: stop and get medical help right away.
• Fainting, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a rash, hives or blistering skin.
• If you take more than one tablet, contact a doctor or emergency department straight away.

If you need emergency care for a heart problem, tell the staff that you took sildenafil, how much and when. Nitrates are a standard emergency treatment for chest pain, and the label says it is not known when they can safely be given after sildenafil, even 24 hours later (US 4.1). The patient information notes that heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat and death have happened rarely in men taking sildenafil, most but not all of whom had heart problems before; it is not known whether the drug caused them.

Who must not take Lovento 100

Never take it if (contraindications in both the US label, section 4, and the UK and EU label, section 4.3):

• You use nitrates in any form, regularly or occasionally, including nitroglycerin sprays, tablets or patches for angina, and amyl or butyl nitrite "poppers". The combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
• You take a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat (Adempas).
• You are allergic to sildenafil (in Viagra or Revatio) or any ingredient of the tablet.

The UK and EU label also lists these as contraindications (4.3); the US label does not list them as contraindications but advises caution or a lower starting dose:

• severe liver impairment
• blood pressure below 90/50
• a recent stroke or heart attack
• retinitis pigmentosa or another inherited degenerative retinal disorder
• loss of vision in one eye from NAION, whether or not it followed a PDE5 inhibitor. The US label says that men who have had NAION should use PDE5 inhibitors with caution, and only when the anticipated benefits outweigh the risks (5.3).

Should not be used or not recommended:

• Men for whom sex is inadvisable because of a heart condition, for example unstable angina or severe heart failure (UK and EU 4.3; US 5.1 says erectile dysfunction treatments "should not be generally used" in these men).
• Combining Lovento with Revatio, another PDE5 inhibitor such as tadalafil or vardenafil, or other erectile dysfunction treatments. These combinations have not been studied and are "not recommended" (US 5.7).
• Ritonavir: "not advised" in the UK and EU label (4.4); limited to 25 mg in 48 hours in the US label (2.4).

Talk to a doctor first if you take an alpha blocker, blood pressure medicines, HIV medicines or other CYP3A4 inhibitors (see above), or if you have aortic stenosis or another obstruction to blood flow out of the heart, severely impaired control of blood pressure, a deformed penis (angulation or Peyronie's disease), a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erections (sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia), a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer (US 5.1, 5.2, 5.8). Lovento is for adult men only; sildenafil is not indicated for women or children (US 8.1, 8.4). It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Prescription and legal status

Sildenafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada. In the UK it is prescription only apart from 50 mg pharmacy packs such as Viagra Connect, so a 100 mg tablet needs a prescription there. The carton in our product photo is printed "Pharmacy Medicine"; that wording on an export carton does not change the legal status of a 100 mg sildenafil tablet where you live. Actiza says it is a 100% export-oriented company that does not sell within India, and we found no Indian pharmacy listing for Lovento. This Indian Lovento pack is not registered with the FDA, the MHRA, the TGA or Health Canada. In the US, the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances. The MHRA warns: "Any medicine not authorised for sale in the UK can be unsafe or ineffective and there is no way of knowing what is in them or the negative health effects they can have." Buying genuine Lovento

Counterfeit erectile dysfunction pills are common in unlicensed channels. When Pfizer tested 22 orders from websites claiming to sell its Viagra in 2011, 77% were counterfeit, with 30% to 50% of the labelled dose. The MHRA warning quoted above covers Lovento, and the MHRA says erectile dysfunction pills bought online may contain no active ingredient, the wrong dose, hidden drugs or toxic ingredients. It advises UK buyers: "Only use UK-registered pharmacies, including online pharmacies displaying the official green cross logo".

Who makes Lovento. Actiza's website describes the company as a manufacturer and exporter, with an address in Surat (402-405 Royal Square, Utran). The drug licence numbers it publishes are on Forms 20B and 21B, which under India's Drugs Rules are licences to sell by wholesale, not manufacturing licences, and the "Mfd. by" line on the carton is not legible in our photo. So we can confirm that Lovento is Actiza's brand, but not which factory makes the tablets.

When your order arrives, check that the carton and each strip name Lovento and Actiza and show a batch number and an expiry date, and reject strips that are damaged, unsealed or unmarked. Because Lovento is not sold in Indian pharmacies, there is no retail pack to compare it with. These checks cannot prove a product is genuine on their own, because counterfeiters copy packaging. If a batch causes unusual symptoms, stop using it, seek medical advice, and report it to your medicines regulator (the MHRA Yellow Card scheme in the UK, FDA MedWatch in the US, the TGA in Australia or Health Canada) as well as to us.
