What is Cyclops 250mg?

Cyclops 250mg is an Indian brand of cycloserine, a second line tuberculosis medicine. Each capsule contains cycloserine 250 mg. It is made in India by Care Formulation Labs Pvt Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Seromycin (DailyMed), cycloserine is used for active tuberculosis of the lungs or elsewhere when the first line TB medicines have not worked, always together with other TB medicines, and, only when usual treatment has failed, some urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.

Prescription status

Cycloserine capsules are prescription only in the US. Cyclops 250mg itself is an India made pack and is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. The FDA says that importing unapproved medicines for personal use is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live.
