What is Eptoin 100mg?

Eptoin 100mg is an Indian brand of phenytoin sodium, an antiepileptic medicine. Each tablet contains phenytoin sodium 100 mg. It is made in India by Abbott India Pvt. Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the UK SmPC for phenytoin 100 mg tablets (emc), phenytoin sodium is used for control of tonic clonic (grand mal) and partial (focal) seizures, and preventing and treating seizures during or after brain surgery or severe head injury; the label also lists trigeminal neuralgia as a second line use when carbamazepine has not worked or is not tolerated. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
