What is Solonex DT 100mg?

Solonex DT 100mg is an Indian brand of isoniazid, a tuberculosis medicine. Each dispersible tablet contains isoniazid 100 mg. It is made in India by Macleods Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for isoniazid tablets (DailyMed), isoniazid is used for all forms of tuberculosis caused by susceptible bacteria (always with other TB medicines), and preventive treatment for defined groups at higher risk of TB. The US label carries a boxed warning about severe and sometimes fatal hepatitis, with liver monitoring during treatment. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
