What is Trihexican 5mg?

Trihexican 5mg is an Indian brand of trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic medicine. Each tablet contains trihexyphenidyl 5 mg. It is made in India by Healing Pharma.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride tablets (DailyMed), trihexyphenidyl is used for an add on treatment for all forms of parkinsonism, often alongside levodopa, and control of extrapyramidal (movement) side effects caused by some medicines that act on the brain, such as phenothiazines and butyrophenones. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
