What is Colozo 72mcg?

Colozo 72mcg is an Indian brand of linaclotide, a guanylate cyclase C agonist. Each capsule contains linaclotide 72 mcg. It is made in India by Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Linzess (DailyMed), linaclotide is used for irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults and children 7 years and older, chronic idiopathic constipation in adults, and functional constipation in children 2 years and older. The US label carries a boxed warning that it must not be given to children under 2 years old because of the risk of serious dehydration. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
