What is Doxbrin 10mg?

Doxbrin 10mg is an Indian brand of doxepin, a tricyclic antidepressant. Each capsule contains doxepin 10 mg. It is made in India by Brinton Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for doxepin hydrochloride capsules (DailyMed), doxepin is used for major depressive disorder in adults. The US label carries a boxed warning that antidepressants raised the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviour in children, teenagers and young adults in short term studies, so anyone starting treatment should be watched closely for worsening mood or suicidal thoughts. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
