What is Empetus 100mg?

Empetus 100mg is an Indian brand of ritonavir, an HIV protease inhibitor. Each tablet contains ritonavir 100 mg. It is made in India by Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Norvir (DailyMed), ritonavir is used for HIV-1 infection, together with other antiretroviral medicines. The US label carries a boxed warning about serious, possibly life threatening interactions with several kinds of medicines, including some sedatives, heart rhythm medicines and ergot medicines. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
