What is Knilonat 200mg?

Knilonat 200mg is an Indian brand of nilotinib, a kinase inhibitor cancer medicine. Each capsule contains nilotinib 200 mg. It is made in India by Natco Pharma Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Tasigna (DailyMed), nilotinib is used for Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase in newly diagnosed adults and children 1 year and older, and in chronic or accelerated phase when earlier treatment (including imatinib) failed or was not tolerated. The US label carries a boxed warning about QT prolongation and sudden deaths; it needs ECG and blood salt checks and must be taken on an empty stomach. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
