What is Lamivir 150mg?

Lamivir 150mg is an Indian brand of lamivudine, an HIV medicine. Each tablet contains lamivudine 150 mg. It is made by Cipla Limited in India.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Epivir (DailyMed), lamivudine is used for HIV-1 infection, in combination with other antiretroviral medicines; this strength is not meant for treating hepatitis B. The US label carries a boxed warning that hepatitis B can flare severely after stopping lamivudine in people who also have hepatitis B. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
