What is Tipanat 15mg/6.14mg?

Tipanat 15mg/6.14mg is an Indian brand of trifluridine and tipiracil, a combination of trifluridine, a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor, and tipiracil, a thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor. Each tablet contains trifluridine 15 mg and tipiracil 6.14 mg. It is made in India by Natco Pharma Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Lonsurf (DailyMed), trifluridine and tipiracil is used for metastatic colorectal cancer in adults who have already had fluoropyrimidine, oxaliplatin and irinotecan based chemotherapy, an anti VEGF biological therapy and, if the tumour is RAS wild type, an anti EGFR therapy (used alone or with bevacizumab), and metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma in adults after at least two earlier lines of chemotherapy.
