What is Trazalon 50mg?

Trazalon 50mg is an Indian brand of trazodone, an antidepressant. Each tablet contains trazodone 50 mg. It is made in India by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for trazodone hydrochloride tablets (DailyMed), trazodone is used for major depressive disorder in adults. The US label carries a boxed warning that antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, teenagers and young adults in short term studies, so anyone taking it should be watched closely for worsening mood or new suicidal thoughts. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
