What is Atenheal 50mg?

Atenheal 50mg is an Indian brand of atenolol, a beta blocker. Each tablet contains atenolol 50 mg. It is made in India by Healing Pharma.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Tenormin (DailyMed), atenolol is used for high blood pressure, long term management of angina, and the management of stable patients with a definite or suspected heart attack to lower the risk of death. The US label warns that stopping atenolol suddenly in people with coronary artery disease can make angina much worse and has been linked to heart attacks. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
