What is Imatib 100mg?

Imatib 100mg is an Indian brand of imatinib, a kinase inhibitor cancer medicine. Each tablet contains imatinib 100 mg. It is made in India by Cipla Limited.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Gleevec (DailyMed), imatinib is used for Philadelphia chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia, myelodysplastic or myeloproliferative diseases with PDGFR gene rearrangements, aggressive systemic mastocytosis, hypereosinophilic syndrome and chronic eosinophilic leukemia, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, and Kit (CD117) positive gastrointestinal stromal tumors, including after surgery. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
