What is Kemoplat 10mg?

Kemoplat 10mg is an Indian brand of cisplatin, a platinum chemotherapy medicine. Each vial contains cisplatin 10 mg as a concentrate for infusion. It is made in India by Fresenius Kabi India Pvt.Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the UK patient leaflet for Cisplatin 1 mg/ml concentrate for solution for infusion (emc), cisplatin is used for cancers of the testis, ovary and bladder, head and neck cancer and lung cancer, and cervical cancer together with radiotherapy, used alone or more often with other cancer medicines. The US label for cisplatin carries a boxed warning about severe kidney damage, bone marrow suppression, nausea and vomiting, hearing loss, anaphylactic like reactions and overdose from carboplatin mix ups. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.

Before you order
