What is Palido-OD 6mg?

Palido-OD 6mg is an Indian brand of paliperidone, an atypical antipsychotic in extended release tablets. Each tablet contains paliperidone 6 mg. It is made in India by Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Invega extended release tablets (DailyMed), paliperidone is used for schizophrenia in adults and teenagers 12 to 17 years, and schizoaffective disorder in adults, on its own or together with mood stabilizers or antidepressants. The US label carries a boxed warning that older people with dementia related psychosis who take antipsychotic medicines have a higher risk of death, and it is not approved for that use. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
