What is Serenace 10mg?

Serenace 10mg is an Indian brand of haloperidol, a conventional (typical) antipsychotic. Each tablet contains haloperidol 10 mg. It is made in India by RPG Life Sciences Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for haloperidol tablets (DailyMed), haloperidol is used for the management of psychotic disorders, control of tics and vocal outbursts in Tourette's disorder in children and adults, and, only after other treatments have failed, severe behavior problems with explosive hyperexcitability in children and short term treatment of hyperactive children with conduct problems. The US label carries a boxed warning that older people with dementia related psychosis who take antipsychotic medicines have a higher risk of death, and it is not approved for that use. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
