About Vidalista 80mg

Vidalista 80 is a tadalafil tablet made in India by Centurion Laboratories. Each tablet contains 80 mg of tadalafil, four times the highest dose approved for erectile dysfunction. The FDA, EMA, MHRA, TGA and Health Canada have not approved tadalafil at 80 mg for any condition, and Vidalista itself is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. We sell it in packs of 90, 120, 150 and 300 tablets, from $1.19 a tablet.

We stock Vidalista 80 because customers ask for it by name, but we would not recommend it as a first or second choice, and of the Vidalista strengths it is the one we would steer people away from most firmly. Almost everything known about tadalafil above 40 mg comes from the overdose section of the label, a 100 mg heart rhythm study in healthy men and early dose-finding studies, not from the main trials that set the approved doses. This page sets out what those sources say, the price per tablet, how long tadalafil stays in the body, who must not take it, and how delivery works. Clinical figures come from the US prescribing information for Cialis and Adcirca and the European review and label for Cialis, listed at the end.

Vidalista 80 and Vidalista Black 80

Centurion also makes Vidalista Black 80, which contains the same 80 mg of tadalafil per tablet. We sell both at the same prices, and everything on this page, from the dose limits to the warnings, applies to Vidalista Black 80 as well. We have no data comparing the two tablets and know of no published bioequivalence study for either, so treat them as the same 80 mg dose, with the same limits and warnings.

Compared with Cialis and US generic tadalafil

There is no Cialis 80 mg. In the US, Cialis comes in 5, 10 and 20 mg and generic tadalafil in 2.5 to 20 mg, and the highest approved tadalafil dose for any use is 40 mg once daily for pulmonary arterial hypertension, for example as two 20 mg Adcirca tablets. In the week of 30 September 2026, the Medicaid NADAC survey put the average US pharmacy purchase cost of generic 20 mg tadalafil at about $0.15 to $0.17 per tablet. That is a pharmacy purchase cost, not a retail price, but if you are in the US and have a prescription, compare US generic tadalafil cash prices before ordering from abroad.

The tadalafil label also says tablets should not be split: "Do not split CIALIS tablets; entire dose should be taken." There is no evidence that cutting an 80 mg tablet gives accurate 20 mg or 40 mg doses.

What is actually known about tadalafil at 80 mg

The approved tadalafil labels contain no trial of 80 mg for erectile dysfunction. Four kinds of evidence come close, and none of them shows that 80 mg works better than 20 mg.

  • Overdose data. The Adcirca label reports that single doses up to 500 mg were given to healthy men, and multiple daily doses up to 100 mg to men with erectile dysfunction, with adverse reactions similar to those at lower doses; the Cialis label gives the same figures. The labels give no numbers and do not say whether "similar" refers to the kind of side effects, how often they occurred or how severe they were.
  • Early dose-finding studies. The European Medicines Agency's review of Cialis says dose-finding studies, using an earlier tablet formulation, explored 2 mg to 100 mg. A dose-related effect was seen, and 100 mg appeared to be the worst tolerated. No dose above 20 mg went on to the main trials, and the review gives no efficacy or side effect figures for the higher doses. It also judged that even 20 mg had not been proven substantially more effective than 10 mg.
  • A 100 mg heart rhythm study. The Cialis and Adcirca labels describe a placebo-controlled study in which 90 healthy men aged 18 to 53 took a single 100 mg dose. At peak blood levels the QT interval rose by an average of 3.5 milliseconds and heart rate by 3.1 beats a minute compared with placebo. The labels give no side effect rates from it.
  • The 40 mg pulmonary hypertension trial. This is the highest dose with placebo-controlled side effect rates in an approved label, covered below. The Adcirca label adds that doses above 40 mg have not been studied in pulmonary arterial hypertension.

The EMA review also records that no dose titration study tested higher doses in men without an adequate response to 10 mg or 20 mg. That is the situation many buyers of an 80 mg tablet are in, and there is no evidence for it either way. The overdose data and the 100 mg study suggest a single 80 mg dose is unlikely to be acutely dangerous for a healthy man who takes no interacting medicines and no nitrates and does not drink heavily, although those volunteers were studied at rest, not during sex. They are not evidence that 80 mg works better than 20 mg, or that it is safe for the many men whose labelled limit is 10 mg or lower.

The nearest data: 20 mg vs 40 mg

In the Adcirca trial, 405 patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension took placebo, 2.5, 10, 20 or 40 mg once daily for 16 weeks. From 20 mg to 40 mg, headache rose from 32% to 42%, flushing from 6% to 13%, muscle aches from 9% to 14% and limb pain from 5% to 11%.

Grouped bar chart from the tadalafil pulmonary arterial hypertension trial. Headache: placebo 15%, 20 mg 32%, 40 mg 42%. Flushing: 2%, 6%, 13%. Muscle aches: 4%, 9%, 14%. Pain in limbs: 2%, 5%, 11%. Indigestion: 2%, 13%, 10%. Back pain: 6%, 12%, 10%.
Selected side effects of tadalafil 20 mg and 40 mg taken daily in the same pulmonary arterial hypertension trial. Source: Adcirca prescribing information, section 6.1, Table 1.

Indigestion and back pain were slightly lower at 40 mg, so not every side effect rose. Most patients were women (78%), more than half also took bosentan, and all took tadalafil daily for a lung disease, so these are not the rates for occasional erectile dysfunction use. They show the direction of travel above 20 mg; no comparable data exist at 80 mg. Our Vidalista 40 page has the full table.

How long it lasts and how long it stays

A longer window is a common reason for buying a stronger tablet, but the 36-hour window comes from studies of 10 mg and 20 mg. In one Cialis label study, 64% of men who took 20 mg reported at least one successful attempt 33 to 39 hours after the dose, against 37% on placebo. There are no duration data for 80 mg.

Tadalafil's average half-life in healthy volunteers is 17.5 hours in the Cialis label and 15 hours after 40 mg in the Adcirca label, so roughly a third or more of any dose is still present 24 hours later. How much of an 80 mg dose reaches the blood is not known. In pulmonary hypertension patients, going from 20 mg to 40 mg raised total exposure about 1.5 times. The labels give no exposure figures above 40 mg, but the Cialis label says a single 100 mg dose produces blood levels covering those seen with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors or kidney impairment, the groups whose limit is 10 mg or lower. What is clear is that a tablet taken the next day adds to what is left. Back pain and muscle aches usually start 12 to 24 hours after a dose and settle within 48 hours, so they can arrive well after sex. Our guide to high-dose tadalafil at 40, 60 and 80 mg covers this in more detail.

Which Vidalista strength to choose

The tadalafil label recommends 10 mg before sex for most men, allows 20 mg or 5 mg depending on effect and side effects, and for daily use recommends 2.5 mg, rising to 5 mg if needed.

ProductTadalafilWhere it sits in the label
Vidalista 2.52.5 mgStarting dose for once daily use
Vidalista 55 mgDaily dose, or a lower dose for use as needed
Vidalista 1010 mgUsual starting dose for use as needed
Vidalista 2020 mgMaximum dose for use as needed
Vidalista 4040 mgTwice the maximum
Vidalista 6060 mgThree times the maximum
Vidalista 80 and Vidalista Black 8080 mgFour times the maximum

If 20 mg feels too weak, the usual causes are practical: judging it too soon (peak blood levels arrive at a median of 2 hours, anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours), too little sexual stimulation, heavy drinking, a medicine that lowers tadalafil levels (rifampin cut exposure by 88% in a label study), or a worsening underlying cause such as diabetes or vascular disease. Daily 2.5 mg or 5 mg removes the timing problem, and switching to sildenafil (Cenforce 100) helps some men who respond poorly to tadalafil. If 20 mg taken correctly does not work, a doctor can look for a treatable cause and discuss other treatments.

If you and your doctor decide on Vidalista 80

  • Only consider it if a doctor has looked at why 20 mg is not working and agrees to a higher dose. 80 mg is four times the labelled maximum. If side effects are troublesome, stop and speak to your doctor.
  • Take no more than one tablet in 24 hours, and do not take one on consecutive days: the previous dose is still present.
  • Swallow the tablet whole; do not split it. Take it with or without food, since food does not change tadalafil absorption.
  • Never combine it with daily tadalafil, with Adcirca, with a sildenafil, vardenafil or avanafil product, or with any other erectile dysfunction treatment.
  • Avoid heavy drinking: the label warns that 5 or more units of alcohol with tadalafil can increase the chance of dizziness, a faster heart rate, a fall in blood pressure on standing, and headache.
  • It works only with sexual stimulation. It does not cause an erection on its own.

Men for whom Vidalista 80 is not suitable

For the first three groups below, the labelled limit is 10 mg or lower, so Vidalista 80 is not suitable. For the others, the label asks for the lowest dose or extra caution.

  • Potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole or ritonavir: no more than 10 mg, once every 72 hours. Erythromycin, clarithromycin and grapefruit juice are also likely to raise tadalafil levels.
  • Kidney impairment: in label studies, tadalafil exposure doubled in people with creatinine clearance of 30 to 80 mL/min. With 30 to 50 mL/min, start at 5 mg, maximum 10 mg once every 48 hours; below 30 mL/min or on dialysis, no more than 5 mg once every 72 hours.
  • Liver impairment: mild or moderate, no more than 10 mg a day, and the label has no data above 10 mg; severe, not recommended.
  • Alpha blockers (for example doxazosin, tamsulosin or alfuzosin): the US label says to be stable on the alpha blocker first and then start tadalafil at the lowest recommended dose, so 80 mg is not suitable. The UK and EU label does not recommend tadalafil with doxazosin at all, because the combination can lower blood pressure enough to cause fainting.
  • Blood pressure medicines: tadalafil can add to their blood pressure lowering effect. The interaction studies used 10 mg or 20 mg, and the UK and EU label says that where only 10 mg was tested, interactions at higher doses cannot be completely ruled out.

When to get urgent help

  • An erection lasting more than 4 hours, whether painful or not. Without prompt treatment it can permanently damage the penis and cause lasting erectile dysfunction.
  • Sudden loss or reduction of vision in one or both eyes. Stop taking tadalafil and get medical help straight away.
  • Sudden loss or reduction of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness. Stop taking tadalafil and get prompt medical attention.
  • Chest pain or other symptoms when starting sex: stop and get medical help right away.
  • Fainting, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a rash, hives or blistering skin.
  • If you take more than one tablet, contact a doctor or emergency department straight away.
  • Brief changes in colour vision, such as a blue tinge or trouble telling blue from green, can occur; the label describes this effect as dose related. Do not drive until it has passed.

If you need emergency care for chest pain, tell the staff that you took tadalafil, how much and when. Because tadalafil lasts so long, the label says at least 48 hours should pass after the last dose before a nitrate is considered, even in a life-threatening situation, and only with close monitoring. That 48-hour figure comes from a study of 20 mg taken daily for 7 days, and the Adcirca label applies it after its 40 mg dose. There are no data at 80 mg. Our rough estimate, assuming absorption rose in step with the dose, is that as much tadalafil could remain 48 hours after an 80 mg tablet as remained 24 hours after the last 20 mg dose in that study, when the interaction was still clear. Make sure the staff know the dose.

Who must not take Vidalista 80

  • Anyone using nitrates in any form, regularly or occasionally, including nitroglycerin sprays, tablets or patches for angina, and amyl or butyl nitrite "poppers".
  • Anyone taking a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat (Adempas) or vericiguat (Verquvo).
  • Anyone who has had a serious allergic reaction to tadalafil or any ingredient of the tablet. Serious skin reactions, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, have been reported.
  • Men for whom sex is inadvisable because of a heart condition. These groups were not included in the trials: men who had a heart attack in the last 90 days or a stroke in the last 6 months, men with unstable angina or angina during sex, heart failure (NYHA class 2 or worse) in the last 6 months, uncontrolled arrhythmias, blood pressure below 90/50, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. The UK and EU Cialis label lists these groups as contraindications; the US label says tadalafil is not recommended for them.
  • Anyone who has lost vision in one eye from NAION (a sudden loss of blood flow to the optic nerve). The UK and EU label lists this as a contraindication; the US label says to use tadalafil only with caution, when the expected benefits outweigh the risks.

Heart attack, sudden cardiac death and stroke have been reported in men taking tadalafil, mostly in men who already had heart risk factors, and many during or soon after sex.

Talk to a doctor first if you have aortic stenosis or another obstruction to blood flow out of the heart, a deformed penis (angulation or Peyronie's disease), a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erections (sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia), a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer. The label does not recommend tadalafil for men with hereditary retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa. Vidalista is for adult men only, and it does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Prescription and legal status

Tadalafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada, and in the UK apart from Cialis Together 10 mg, which pharmacies can sell after a consultation. No tadalafil product is approved at 80 mg by the FDA, the EMA, the MHRA, the TGA or Health Canada, and Vidalista is not licensed by any of them. In the US, the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances. We recommend seeing a doctor before using tadalafil, especially at a dose above 20 mg, and checking the rules where you live before ordering.

Buying genuine Vidalista

The MHRA warns that any medicine not authorised for sale in the UK, which includes Vidalista, can be unsafe or ineffective, and that erectile dysfunction pills bought online may contain no active ingredient, the wrong dose, hidden drugs or toxic ingredients. It advises UK buyers to use only UK-registered pharmacies. When your order arrives, check that each strip names Centurion Laboratories and shows a batch number and an expiry date, and reject strips that are damaged, unsealed or unmarked. These checks cannot prove a product is genuine on their own, because counterfeiters copy packaging. If a batch causes unusual symptoms, stop using it, seek medical advice, and report it to your medicines regulator (the MHRA Yellow Card scheme in the UK, FDA MedWatch in the US, the TGA in Australia or Health Canada) as well as to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Vidalista 80?

Vidalista 80 is a tadalafil tablet made in India by Centurion Laboratories. Each tablet contains 80 mg of tadalafil, four times the highest dose approved for erectile dysfunction. It is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada, and none of these regulators, or the EMA, has approved tadalafil at 80 mg.

Is Vidalista Black 80 the same as Vidalista 80?

Both are Centurion Laboratories tablets containing 80 mg of tadalafil, and we sell them at the same prices. The dose is the same, so the dose limits, warnings and side effect information on this page apply to both.

Is there a Cialis 80 mg?

No. In the US, Cialis comes in 5, 10 and 20 mg and generic tadalafil in 2.5 to 20 mg. The highest approved tadalafil dose for any condition is 40 mg once daily for pulmonary arterial hypertension, for example as two 20 mg Adcirca tablets. No 80 mg tadalafil tablet is approved by the FDA, EMA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada.

Does 80 mg work better than 20 mg?

There is no good evidence that it does. Early dose-finding studies with an earlier formulation tested 2 to 100 mg and saw a dose-related effect, with 100 mg the worst tolerated; no dose above 20 mg went on to the main trials. The EMA review records that no dose titration study tested higher doses in men who did not respond to 10 or 20 mg. In the trial that compared 20 mg and 40 mg in pulmonary hypertension, 40 mg caused more headache, flushing and muscle pain.

Is Vidalista 80 safe?

The Adcirca label reports that single doses up to 500 mg were given to healthy men and daily doses up to 100 mg to men with erectile dysfunction, with adverse reactions similar to lower doses, and a 100 mg study in healthy men found only small changes in heart rhythm. That suggests a single 80 mg dose is unlikely to be acutely dangerous in a healthy man who takes no nitrates, riociguat or interacting medicines and does not drink heavily. The label gives no rates, it is never safe with nitrates, and 80 mg is far above the limit for men with kidney or liver problems or on interacting drugs.

How much does Vidalista 80 cost per tablet?

As of October 2026 it costs $1.49 a tablet in the 90 pack, $1.44 in the 120 pack, $1.40 in the 150 pack and $1.19 in the 300 pack, before shipping. Shipping is $25 under $149, so the 90 pack totals $159. Vidalista 20, the labelled maximum dose, costs $0.72 to $0.93 a tablet.

How long does tadalafil 80 mg stay in the body?

Tadalafil's average half-life at approved doses is 15 to 17.5 hours in healthy volunteers, so roughly a third or more of a dose is still present 24 hours later. How much of an 80 mg dose reaches the blood is not known, but a tablet taken the next day adds to what is left. Back pain and muscle aches from tadalafil usually start 12 to 24 hours after a dose.

How often can I take Vidalista 80?

Never more than one tablet in 24 hours, and not on consecutive days, because the previous dose is still in your body. Swallow it whole; the Cialis label says its tablets should not be split. Men taking ketoconazole, itraconazole or ritonavir should take no more than 10 mg once every 72 hours, so 80 mg is not for them.

What should I try before 80 mg?

Take 20 mg correctly first: allow time, since peak levels arrive at a median of 2 hours, have sexual stimulation and avoid heavy drinking. The 36-hour window comes from studies of 10 mg and 20 mg, so a bigger tablet is not needed for a longer window. Daily 2.5 mg or 5 mg removes the timing problem, and some men respond better to sildenafil. If 20 mg taken correctly does not work, see a doctor about the underlying cause.

Who should not take Vidalista 80?

Never take it with nitrates in any form, including nitroglycerin and poppers, or with riociguat or vericiguat, or after a serious allergic reaction to tadalafil. It is not suitable for men taking potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, men with creatinine clearance below 50 mL/min, or men with mild or moderate liver impairment, because their labelled limit is 10 mg or less; with severe liver impairment the label does not recommend tadalafil at all. Men with heart disease that makes sex inadvisable, men who have lost vision in one eye from NAION, and men taking alpha blockers should not use it without a doctor.

Do I need a prescription, and how long does delivery take?

Tadalafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada, and in the UK apart from Cialis Together 10 mg. Vidalista is not licensed in any of these countries, and the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live. We ship in plain packaging with tracking; standard delivery takes 7 to 14 business days.
