What is Vortidif 5mg?

Vortidif 5mg is an Indian brand of vortioxetine, an antidepressant. Each tablet contains vortioxetine 5 mg. It is made in India by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Trintellix (DailyMed), vortioxetine is used for major depressive disorder in adults. The US label carries a boxed warning that antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, teenagers and young adults in short term studies, so anyone taking it should be watched closely for worsening mood or new suicidal thoughts. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
