What is Zipsydon 20mg?

Zipsydon 20mg is an Indian brand of ziprasidone, an atypical antipsychotic. Each capsule contains ziprasidone 20 mg. It is made in India by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Geodon (DailyMed), ziprasidone is used for schizophrenia in adults, manic or mixed episodes of bipolar I disorder in adults, and, together with lithium or valproate, maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults. The US label carries a boxed warning that older people with dementia related psychosis who take antipsychotic medicines have a higher risk of death, and it is not approved for that use. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
