What is Arpizol 30mg?

Arpizol 30mg is an Indian brand of aripiprazole, an atypical antipsychotic. Each tablet contains aripiprazole 30 mg. It is made in India by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Abilify tablets (DailyMed), aripiprazole is used for schizophrenia, acute manic and mixed episodes of bipolar I disorder, add on treatment of major depressive disorder, irritability linked to autistic disorder, and Tourette disorder. The US label carries a boxed warning about a higher risk of death in elderly people with dementia related psychosis, and about suicidal thoughts and behavior in children, teenagers and young adults taking antidepressants. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
