What is Dilvas 10mg?

Dilvas 10mg is an Indian brand of enalapril, an ACE inhibitor. Each tablet contains enalapril 10 mg. It is made in India by Cipla Limited.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Vasotec (DailyMed), enalapril is used for high blood pressure, symptomatic heart failure, and stable patients with reduced heart pumping (ejection fraction 35% or lower) who have no symptoms yet. The US label carries a boxed warning: medicines that act on the renin angiotensin system can harm or kill an unborn baby, so it is stopped as soon as pregnancy is found. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
