What is Olmecip 20mg?

Olmecip 20mg is an Indian brand of olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Each tablet contains olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg. It is made in India by Cipla Limited.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Benicar (DailyMed), olmesartan medoxomil is used for high blood pressure in adults and children 6 years and older. The US label carries a boxed warning: medicines that act on the renin angiotensin system can harm or kill an unborn baby, so it is stopped as soon as pregnancy is found. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
