About P Force Fort 150mg

P Force Fort is a sildenafil tablet made in India by Sunrise Remedies. The carton reads "Sildenafil Citrate Tablets 150 mg", a strength above the labelled maximum: the US, UK and EU sildenafil labels set 100 mg as the maximum dose for erectile dysfunction. We sell it in packs of 90, 120, 150 and 300 tablets, from $1.03 a tablet in the largest pack.

We stock P Force Fort because customers ask for it by name, but we would not recommend it as a first or a second step. The label starts most men on 50 mg and allows a move up to 100 mg, the labelled maximum. P Force Fort is also not Super P-Force: Super P-Force, from the same maker, combines sildenafil with dapoxetine, while P Force Fort contains sildenafil alone. This page covers the price per tablet, what the one published study of 150 mg found, what the labels say about doses above 100 mg, who must not take it, and how delivery works. Clinical figures come from the US prescribing information for Viagra, the UK and EU product information and published studies, listed at the end.

Evidence at 150 mgOne small uncontrolled study in men who had not responded to 100 mg: 4 of 54 (7%) responded at 150 mg, 9 more at 200 mg; 63% had side effects at their highest dose (McMahon 2002). In another study, 24 of 41 men who said sildenafil had failed succeeded on 100 mg once shown how to take it (Jiann 2004)

150 tablets$181$1.21Free$1.21
300 tablets$308$1.03Free$1.03

Look at the 90 pack before you choose it. It is only $8 cheaper than the 120 pack, and ordered on its own, with $25 shipping, it totals $168, which is more than the 120 pack at $151 with free shipping (our arithmetic). The 120 pack is also cheaper per tablet before shipping.

Sildenafil is taken as needed, no more than once a day, so a pack is a number of doses rather than a course: 90 tablets are 90 doses. Check the expiry date on the strips when your order arrives and plan how many tablets you will realistically use before it.

For comparison, Cenforce 100, at the labelled maximum dose, costs $0.71 to $1.17 a tablet before shipping, depending on the pack. Cenforce 150 (Centurion Laboratories), the same 150 mg strength, is listed at $96 for 90 tablets ($1.07 a tablet before shipping), against $143 for the P Force Fort 90 pack.

P Force Fort compared with Viagra and US generics

There is no Viagra 150 mg and no FDA-approved 150 mg sildenafil tablet to compare with; the highest strength is 100 mg. Viagra was approved on clinical trial evidence, US generics had to prove bioequivalence to it, and the FDA inspects manufacturing for both. The Indian P Force Fort pack is not registered with the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada, and we have not seen bioequivalence data comparing it with Viagra.

NADAC is the average price US pharmacies pay to buy a medicine, published by the US Medicaid programme; the price at the counter is higher and depends on the pharmacy and your insurance. In the NADAC file effective 21 October 2026, all 33 rows for generic sildenafil 100 mg tablets were $0.13650 a tablet, and the four Viagra 100 mg rows were $83.70474. If you are in the US and have a prescription, compare cash prices for FDA-approved generic sildenafil 100 mg, the labelled maximum, before ordering a dose above it. Our generic Viagra guide explains those prices.

What the evidence says about 150 mg

The side effect table and efficacy results in the sildenafil label cover 25 mg to 100 mg. The only published study of 150 mg and 200 mg for erectile dysfunction that we found is small and uncontrolled. McMahon (2002) treated 54 men whose erectile dysfunction had not responded to 100 mg, raising the dose to 150 mg and then 200 mg until they responded or could not tolerate it.

Result (54 men who had not responded to 100 mg)NumberShare
Responded at 150 mg47%

Did not respond at any dose4176%

Bar chart of side effects at maximal sildenafil dose in 54 men: facial flushing 32 (59%), headache 19 (35%), indigestion 14 (26%), nasal congestion 11 (20%), dizziness 5 (9%), visual disturbance 5 (9%).
Figure 1. Side effects at the highest dose each man reached (150 mg or 200 mg; the study does not split them by dose). Four of the 13 men who responded (31%) stopped because of side effects. Source: McMahon 2002.

There was no placebo group. In this one study, 4 of 54 men responded at 150 mg, and most of the men who tried higher doses had side effects. Without a comparison group, it is not known how many would have responded to more attempts at 100 mg: in another study of men who said sildenafil had failed, 24 of the 41 who were followed up (59%) had successful intercourse on 100 mg after being shown how to take it properly (Jiann 2004). In that study, 45% of the 60 men had never taken 100 mg and 60% had tried sildenafil fewer than four times. For men who already respond to 100 mg, we found no evidence that 150 mg does anything more. Our guide to sildenafil 150 mg and 200 mg goes through both studies.

What the labels say about doses above 100 mg

  • The US label: "At doses above the recommended dose range, adverse reactions were similar to those detailed in Table 1 below but generally were reported more frequently" (6.1).
  • In healthy volunteers given single doses up to 800 mg, adverse reactions were similar to those at lower doses, but incidence rates and severities were increased (US 10; UK and EU 4.9).
  • Decreased blood pressure, fainting and prolonged erection were reported in some healthy volunteers exposed to high doses of sildenafil (200 mg to 800 mg) (US 5.6).
  • The UK and EU product information, in its overdose section: "Doses of 200 mg did not result in increased efficacy but the incidence of adverse reactions (headache, flushing, dizziness, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, altered vision) was increased" (4.9). It gives no figures for 150 mg.
  • Single doses of 100 mg and 200 mg caused a temporary, dose-related impairment of colour discrimination, reported as difficulty telling blue from green, with peak effects near the time of the peak blood level (US 12.2).

Which strength to choose

The sildenafil label recommends 50 mg for most men, allows a move down to 25 mg or up to 100 mg depending on effect and side effects, and sets 100 mg as the maximum dose (US label 2.1; UK and EU label 4.2). The strength selector above lists other Super P-Force products; those contain dapoxetine as well as sildenafil and are not other strengths of this tablet. The single-ingredient sildenafil strengths we stock are below.

If 100 mg is not working, check the practical causes first: taking it after a heavy meal, too close to sex, with too much alcohol, or without enough sexual stimulation, and give 100 mg several attempts (our advice, based on the Jiann study above). Tadalafil (Vidalista 20) is another option to discuss with a doctor. Erectile dysfunction that does not respond to 100 mg is also a reason to see a doctor, because it can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes. Our sildenafil strengths comparison lines up every dose.

Men for whom 150 mg is not suitable

For these groups the US label advises a 25 mg start or a 25 mg limit, and the UK and EU label gives the same advice for most of them (not for age alone, and it advises against ritonavir altogether), because sildenafil levels in the blood run higher or blood pressure can fall further. P Force Fort is not suitable for them. Each point says which label it comes from.

  • Men over 65. The US label says to consider a starting dose of 25 mg (2.5, 8.5); exposure (AUC) was about 84% higher than in young men. The UK and EU label says no dose adjustment is needed for age alone (4.2), but its maximum is still 100 mg.
  • Liver impairment. The US label says to consider 25 mg as the starting dose (2.5, 8.7). The UK and EU label says a 25 mg dose should be considered, and lists severe hepatic impairment as a contraindication (4.2, 4.3).
  • Severe kidney impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min). Both labels say a 25 mg dose should be considered; exposure roughly doubled (US 2.5, 8.6; UK and EU 4.2).
  • Erythromycin and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole or saquinavir. The US label says to consider a 25 mg starting dose (2.4); erythromycin raised exposure by 182% and saquinavir by 210% (12.3). The UK and EU label says a 25 mg starting dose should be considered with CYP3A4 inhibitors (4.2). Other HIV protease inhibitors have not been studied but are expected to raise sildenafil levels (US 12.3).
  • Ritonavir. The US label's recommended dose is 25 mg, with a maximum of 25 mg within 48 hours, because ritonavir raised sildenafil exposure 11-fold (2.4, 12.3). The UK and EU label says sildenafil with ritonavir "is not advised" (4.4, 4.5). Do not start sildenafil while taking ritonavir without asking your HIV doctor.
  • Alpha blockers (for example doxazosin or tamsulosin). The US label says to be stable on the alpha blocker first, and that sildenafil "should be initiated at 25 mg" (2.3), because the combination can cause symptomatic low blood pressure, such as dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting (5.5). The UK and EU label says starting at 25 mg should be considered (4.2, 4.4).

Sildenafil may also lower blood pressure further in men taking blood pressure medicines (US 5.5); with amlodipine, a 100 mg dose lowered it by an extra 8/7 mmHg (US 7.3, 12.2). In men over 65, men with liver or severe kidney impairment and men on erythromycin or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, sildenafil levels 24 hours after a dose were 3 to 8 times higher than in healthy volunteers (US 12.2).

Bar chart of increases in sildenafil exposure (AUC): age 65 and over +84%, liver impairment (Child-Pugh A and B) +85%, severe kidney impairment about +100%, erythromycin +182%, saquinavir +210%, ritonavir +1,000% (elevenfold).
Figure 2. Selected increases in total sildenafil exposure (AUC) in the groups for whom the US label advises considering a 25 mg start (age 65 and over, liver impairment (Child-Pugh A and B), severe kidney impairment, erythromycin, saquinavir) and with ritonavir, where the label sets a maximum of 25 mg in 48 hours. If you and your doctor decide on P Force Fort

  • Only consider it if a doctor has looked at why 100 mg is not working and agrees to a dose above it. 150 mg is above the labelled maximum.
  • Take no more than one tablet in 24 hours, and never combine it with another sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil product.
  • Take it about an hour before sex. It can be taken with or without food (US 2.2), but a high-fat meal delays the peak blood level by about an hour and lowers it by 29% (US 12.3).
  • It works only with sexual stimulation. In the one label study that looked at timing, the effect lasted up to 4 hours, weaker at 4 hours than at 2 (US 12.2); there are no timing data above 100 mg.
  • Avoid heavy drinking (our advice). In the label's alcohol study, 50 mg did not add to the fall in blood pressure caused by alcohol, but higher doses were not tested (US 7.5, 12.2).
  • If side effects are troublesome, stop and speak to your doctor.

Side effects by dose

These rates come from the fixed-dose trials in the US label, where each man stayed on one dose. The table lists every reaction in the label's Table 1 (reported by 2% or more of men and more often than with placebo). The label has no table for 150 mg. In the fixed-dose studies, the incidence of some side effects increased with dose, and above the recommended range they "generally were reported more frequently" (US 6.1).

In the label, abnormal vision was mostly a colour tinge to vision, sometimes with extra sensitivity to light or blurring, and was mild to moderate and temporary (US 6.1).

When to get urgent help

  • An erection lasting more than 4 hours. Without prompt treatment it can permanently damage the penis and cause lasting erectile dysfunction.
  • Sudden loss or reduction of vision in one or both eyes. Stop taking sildenafil and get medical help straight away.
  • Sudden loss or reduction of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness. Stop taking sildenafil and get prompt medical attention.
  • Chest pain, dizziness or nausea during sex: stop and get medical help right away.
  • Fainting, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a rash, hives or blistering skin.
  • If you take more than one tablet, contact a doctor or emergency department straight away.

If you need emergency care for a heart problem, tell the staff that you took sildenafil, how much and when. Nitrates are a standard emergency treatment for chest pain, and the label says it is not known when they can safely be given after sildenafil, even 24 hours later (US 4.1). The patient information notes that heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat and death have happened rarely in men taking sildenafil, most but not all of whom had heart problems before; it is not known whether the drug caused them.

Who must not take P Force Fort

Never take it if (contraindications in both the US label, section 4, and the UK and EU label, section 4.3):

  • You use nitrates in any form, regularly or occasionally, including nitroglycerin sprays, tablets or patches for angina, and amyl or butyl nitrite "poppers". The combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
  • You take a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat (Adempas).
  • You are allergic to sildenafil (in Viagra or Revatio) or any ingredient of the tablet.

The UK and EU label also lists these as contraindications (4.3); the US label does not list them as contraindications: it advises caution (blood pressure, recent stroke or heart attack, retinitis pigmentosa, NAION) or a 25 mg start (liver impairment):

  • severe liver impairment
  • blood pressure below 90/50
  • a recent stroke or heart attack
  • retinitis pigmentosa or another inherited degenerative retinal disorder
  • loss of vision in one eye from NAION, whether or not it followed a PDE5 inhibitor. The US label says that men who have had NAION should use PDE5 inhibitors with caution, and only when the anticipated benefits outweigh the risks (5.3).

Should not be used or not recommended:

  • Men for whom sex is inadvisable because of a heart condition, for example unstable angina or severe heart failure (UK and EU 4.3; US 5.1 says erectile dysfunction treatments "should not be generally used" in these men). The US label has no controlled data in men who had a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening arrhythmia in the last 6 months, men with resting blood pressure below 90/50 or above 170/110, or men with heart failure or unstable angina (5.1).
  • Combining P Force Fort with Revatio, another PDE5 inhibitor such as tadalafil or vardenafil, or other erectile dysfunction treatments. These combinations have not been studied, may lower blood pressure further, and are "not recommended" (US 5.7). That includes Super P-Force and other sildenafil products.
  • Ritonavir: "not advised" in the UK and EU label (4.4); limited to 25 mg in 48 hours in the US label (2.4).

Talk to a doctor first if you take an alpha blocker, blood pressure medicines, HIV medicines or other CYP3A4 inhibitors (see above), or if you have aortic stenosis or another obstruction to blood flow out of the heart, severely impaired control of blood pressure, a deformed penis (angulation or Peyronie's disease), a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erections (sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, leukaemia), a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer (US 5.1, 5.2, 5.8). P Force Fort is for adult men only; sildenafil is not indicated for women or children (US 8.1, 8.4). It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Prescription and legal status

Sildenafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada. In the UK it is prescription only apart from 50 mg pharmacy packs such as Viagra Connect, so a 150 mg tablet needs a prescription there. PharmEasy's listing for a P Force Forte tablet from the same maker (strength not stated) is marked prescription only in its page data; we have not confirmed the status of the 150 mg pack. We found no sildenafil tablet for erectile dysfunction licensed above 100 mg in the US, UK, EU, Australia or Canada, and the Indian P Force Fort pack is not registered with the FDA, the MHRA, the TGA or Health Canada. In the US, the FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances. The MHRA warns: "Any medicine not authorised for sale in the UK can be unsafe or ineffective and there is no way of knowing what is in them or the negative health effects they can have." We recommend seeing a doctor before using sildenafil, especially at a dose above 100 mg, and checking the rules where you live before ordering. Our guide to buying sildenafil online in the US, UK, Canada and Australia sets out the rules.

Buying genuine P Force Fort

Counterfeit erectile dysfunction pills are common in unlicensed channels. When Pfizer tested 22 orders from websites claiming to sell its Viagra in 2011, 77% were counterfeit, with 30% to 50% of the labelled dose. The MHRA warning quoted above applies to P Force Fort, which is not authorised for sale in the UK, and the MHRA says erectile dysfunction pills bought online may contain no active ingredient, the wrong dose, hidden drugs or toxic ingredients. It advises UK buyers: "Only use UK-registered pharmacies, including online pharmacies displaying the official green cross logo". When your order arrives, check that the carton and strips name Sunrise Remedies and show a batch number and an expiry date, and reject strips that are damaged, unsealed or unmarked. These checks cannot prove a product is genuine on their own, because counterfeiters copy packaging. If a batch causes unusual symptoms, stop using it, seek medical advice, and report it to your medicines regulator (the MHRA Yellow Card scheme in the UK, FDA MedWatch in the US, the TGA in Australia or Health Canada) as well as to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is P Force Fort 150?

P Force Fort 150 is a sildenafil tablet made in India by Sunrise Remedies. Each tablet contains 150 mg of sildenafil, above the 100 mg maximum in the US, UK and EU sildenafil labels. It contains sildenafil alone; Super P-Force, from the same maker, also contains dapoxetine. Sildenafil is licensed in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, but this Indian pack is not registered with the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada.

Is P Force Fort 150 the same as Viagra?

It contains the same molecule as Viagra, but at a strength that Viagra does not come in: the highest Viagra strength is 100 mg. Viagra was approved on clinical trials, and US generics had to prove bioequivalence to it. The Indian P Force Fort pack is not registered with the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada, and we have not seen bioequivalence data comparing it with Viagra.

How much does P Force Fort 150 cost per tablet?

As of October 2026 it costs $1.59 a tablet in the 90 pack, $1.26 in the 120 pack, $1.21 in the 150 pack and $1.03 in the 300 pack, before shipping. Ordered on its own, the 90 pack ($143) carries $25 shipping, so it totals $168, more than the 120 pack at $151 with free shipping. In the US, pharmacies pay about $0.14 for a generic sildenafil 100 mg tablet (NADAC, effective 21 October 2026).

Does 150 mg of sildenafil work better than 100 mg?

Only for a few men in the one small study that tested it. In McMahon 2002, 4 of 54 men who had not responded to 100 mg responded at 150 mg and 9 more at 200 mg; 41 did not respond at any dose, and 63% had side effects at their highest dose. There was no placebo group, and in another study 24 of 41 men who said sildenafil had failed, and were followed up, responded to 100 mg once they were shown how to take it.

Which sildenafil strength should I start with?

The label recommends 50 mg for most men, with a move down to 25 mg or up to a maximum of 100 mg depending on effect and side effects. The label advises considering 25 mg for some groups, such as men with severe kidney impairment or men taking erythromycin or a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor. P Force Fort 150 is above the labelled maximum and is not a starting dose.

Who should consider P Force Fort 150?

Only men whose doctor has looked at why 100 mg is not working and agrees to a dose above it. We would not recommend it as a first or a second step. In one study of 60 men who said sildenafil had failed, 60% had tried it fewer than four times, 45% had never taken 100 mg and 30% did not know sexual stimulation was needed (Jiann 2004).

How do I take P Force Fort 150?

Only take it if a doctor has agreed to a dose above 100 mg. Take one tablet with water about an hour before sex, with or without food, though a high-fat meal delays the peak by about an hour. Take no more than one tablet in 24 hours and never combine it with another sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil product. It works only with sexual stimulation. If side effects are troublesome, stop and speak to your doctor.

How long does P Force Fort 150 last?

In the one label study that looked at timing, sildenafil worked for up to 4 hours, with a weaker effect at 4 hours than at 2. That study did not test doses above 100 mg, and there are no timing data for 150 mg. The half-life of sildenafil is about 4 hours.

What are the side effects of P Force Fort 150?

The US label says that above the recommended dose range, side effects were similar to those at lower doses but generally were reported more frequently. At 100 mg in the label trials, 28% had headache, 18% flushing, 17% indigestion and 11% abnormal vision. In McMahon 2002, flushing (32 of 54 men), headache (19) and indigestion (14) were the most common at the highest dose each man reached. Who must not take P Force Fort 150?

Never take it with nitrates in any form, including nitroglycerin and poppers, or with riociguat, or if you are allergic to sildenafil. The UK and EU label also rules it out with severe liver impairment, blood pressure below 90/50, a recent heart attack or stroke, retinitis pigmentosa or vision loss from NAION. It is not suitable for men for whom the labels advise a 25 mg start or limit: with an alpha blocker the US label says sildenafil "should be initiated at 25 mg" (the UK and EU label says 25 mg "should be considered"); with ritonavir the US label sets a maximum of 25 mg in 48 hours and the UK and EU label says the combination "is not advised"; and the US label advises considering 25 mg for men over 65. Combining it with Revatio or another PDE5 inhibitor is not recommended (US 5.7).

Do I need a prescription, and how long does delivery take?

Sildenafil is a prescription medicine in the US, Australia and Canada, and in the UK apart from 50 mg pharmacy packs, so 150 mg needs a prescription there. The FDA says personal importation of unapproved medicines is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live. We ship in plain packaging with tracking; standard delivery takes 7 to 14 business days, with $25 shipping under $149 and free shipping from $149.
