About Brilinta 90mg
What is Brilinta 90mg?
Brilinta 90mg is ticagrelor, an antiplatelet medicine (P2Y12 inhibitor), sold in India under the Brilinta brand name by AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd. Each tablet contains ticagrelor 90 mg.
What it is used for
According to the US FDA label for Brilinta (DailyMed), ticagrelor is used for lowering the risk of cardiovascular death, heart attack and stroke in people with acute coronary syndrome or a past heart attack, lowering the risk of a first heart attack or stroke in people with coronary artery disease at high risk, and lowering the risk of stroke after a minor ischemic stroke or high risk transient ischemic attack (TIA). The US label carries a boxed warning about serious, sometimes fatal bleeding, and says that stopping it early raises the risk of heart events. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.

Brilinta 90mg comes in packs of 28, 56, 84, 180, 360 and 540 tablets. The lowest price works out at about $1.55 per tablet on the 540 tablet pack, as of October 2026; the pack selector shows the current price. Shipping is $25 on orders under $149 and free from $149.

Ticagrelor is a prescription medicine in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Brilinta 90mg itself is an Indian market pack and is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. The FDA says that importing unapproved medicines for personal use is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live.
