What is Coversyl 2mg?

Coversyl 2mg is an Indian brand of perindopril erbumine, an ACE inhibitor. Each tablet contains perindopril erbumine 2 mg. It is made in India by Serdia Pharmaceuticals India Pvt Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for perindopril erbumine tablets (DailyMed), perindopril erbumine is used for essential high blood pressure, and stable coronary artery disease, to lower the risk of death from heart causes or a non fatal heart attack. The US label carries a boxed warning that medicines acting on the renin angiotensin system can injure or cause the death of an unborn baby, so perindopril should be stopped as soon as pregnancy is found. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
