What is Lonopin 60mg?

Lonopin 60mg is an Indian brand of enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin. Each prefilled syringe contains enoxaparin sodium 60 mg. It is made in India by Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Lovenox (DailyMed), enoxaparin is used for prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in abdominal surgery, hip or knee replacement surgery and acutely ill patients with severely restricted mobility, treatment of acute DVT with warfarin (in hospital with or without pulmonary embolism, at home without it), prevention of ischemic complications of unstable angina and non Q wave heart attack (with aspirin), and treatment of acute ST elevation heart attack (STEMI). Its US boxed warning covers spinal or epidural blood clots, which can cause paralysis, with spinal or epidural anesthesia or spinal puncture. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.

Before you order
