What is Silectone 100mg?

Silectone 100mg is an Indian brand of spironolactone, an aldosterone antagonist (potassium sparing diuretic). Each tablet contains spironolactone 100 mg. It is made in India by Johnlee Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.

What it is used for

According to the US FDA label for Aldactone (DailyMed), spironolactone is used for NYHA class III to IV heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, as an add on treatment for high blood pressure not controlled by other medicines, fluid build up (edema) in liver cirrhosis or nephrotic syndrome when other measures have not worked well enough, and primary hyperaldosteronism. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
