About Verquvo 2.5mg
What is Verquvo 2.5mg?
Verquvo 2.5mg is vericiguat, a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator, sold in India under the Verquvo brand name by Bayer Zydus Pharma. Each tablet contains vericiguat 2.5 mg.
What it is used for
According to the US FDA label for Verquvo (DailyMed), vericiguat is used for lowering the risk of death from heart causes and of hospital admission for heart failure in adults with symptomatic chronic heart failure and an ejection fraction below 45%, after a hospital stay for heart failure or a need for outpatient IV diuretics. The US label carries a boxed warning that vericiguat may harm an unborn baby: it must not be given in pregnancy, pregnancy must be ruled out before starting, and women who could become pregnant must use effective contraception during treatment and for one month after stopping. Your doctor decides whether it suits you.
Packs and price
Verquvo 2.5mg comes in packs of 28, 56 and 84 tablets. The lowest price works out at about $2.36 per tablet on the 84 tablet pack, as of October 2026; the pack selector shows the current price. Shipping is $25 on orders under $149 and free from $149.
Prescription status
Vericiguat is a prescription medicine in the US, UK and Canada. Verquvo 2.5mg itself is an Indian market pack and is not approved by the FDA, MHRA, TGA or Health Canada. The FDA says that importing unapproved medicines for personal use is illegal in most circumstances, so check the rules where you live.
Before you order
Read the patient leaflet that comes with the pack. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you take and any health conditions you have. Get urgent medical help if you notice signs of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, trouble breathing, or a widespread rash.
